Last June we had a rare couple days off due to a cancellation (NEVER cancel), and we headed over to the Madison River to chase the Stonefly Hatch and shoot some video footage with Zach Boughton of Montana Wild.
Well, the weather turned bright and sunny, and I didn't actually think the fishing would be "all that". Boy was I wrong. The bugs blew up over the entire river and the trout were looking up, big time. I remember at the time thinking how badly Dave Pribus screwed up cancelling. (Remember the Ice Out Video?)
This was one of the first days we got to put the new Scott Flyrods Radian through its paces - and it lived up to the hype.
So click on HD, go to full screen and turn it up. These boys are pretty good at making a hack look like he knows what he is doing! Enjoy!

It's that time of year again. It's time for the migration to the Coast of Washington to guide for the Wild Steelhead on the Hoh, Bogachiel, Calawah and Queets Rivers. Although my season is completely booked, I work with some great guides in Forks that have a few openings. If you are interested, get in touch with me at and I will do what I can to organize a few days on the water for you.

Thanks for watching - see you on the water!
